Received Distinction for thesis on ‘Empowering Agile and Hybrid project teams through adaptive interdepartmental tools and workflows.’ The research demonstrates the utility and demand for tools that automate workflows and connect separate departments and Line of Business (LOB) applications. Trends in Agile projects-of-scale, Business Agility, Business Process Management (BPM) technology, and the changing role of the Project Management Office (PMO) are related to the topic. Results from a survey of project professionals are presented and analyzed to validate need and explore requirements which are demonstrated in a System Use Case and sample BPMN 2.0 workflow.

My interest in international politics and the conditions under which development/underdevelopment and war/peace occurs led me to take modules in Conflict and Peace Studies, Humanitarian Intervention, and IR Theory. I also engaged in partnerships with International Institute for Security Studies (IISS), Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) and served as an Editorial Board Member for the Millennium.
